HERO® Continues Expansion Into Japan in Partnership With Transcosmos Inc.
HERO®, the leader in virtual shopping for ecommerce and retail, today announces its availability to more brands in Japan, in partnership with Transcosmos Inc. who will be the exclusive sales partner of Hero in-market.
In April 2020, Transcosmos Inc. created the Retail Commerce Integrated Division. In addition to the existing services it delivers to more than 2,500 clients, Transcosmos is enhancing its services to support digital transformation in retail and commerce. Transcosmos Inc.’s partnership with Hero will play an integral role in realizing this strategy.
Transcosmos Inc. will offer Hero’s virtual shopping and clienteling services, bringing the expertise of in-store retail teams into the ecommerce shopping experience via chat and real-time video. Online customers who shop through Hero are up to 21x more likely to make a purchase.
Another powerful feature of Hero is its official partnership with ecommerce platform Shopify, to whom Transcosmos is already a certified enterprise partner. In July, Shopify merchants in North America, UK, and Australia were given the ability to add Hero to their Shopify store with a simple plug-and-play solution. This service will soon be launched in Japan.
“Japan is among the fastest growing international markets for Hero and as we looked to accelerate that growth, we wanted to find a partner with significant local expertise. Transcosmos has a superb track record in working with fast-growth technology businesses to bring new innovation to the Japanese market. Together we will change the way that people shop in Japan—online and in-store,” says Hero CEO, Alistair Crane.
HERO® is the #1 virtual shopping app for stores, powering Nike, Levi’s, Deciem, rag & bone, UNTUCKit and more. Our technology makes it effortless to text, chat and video call with customers; growing ecommerce sales while converting online visitors into offline customers.
