The conversation dives into how Hero helped Ted Baker, and many more, find resilience throughout the pandemic by humanizing online shopping, and what role virtual shopping will play in the future of luxury. Plus, Anna Stewart gives virtually shopping a try and shares a sneak preview of Hero’s newest feature – Stories.
On Hero, Kirstin Barrett, Retail Development Manager, Ted Baker shared: “We had the ability to be able to utilize Hero in a work from home model for our store teams, so they were able to deliver great service from the comfort of their own homes to customers – in the comfort of the customers own home as well. [This] is what customers identify with. They want to see a normal person talking about a product because they are normal people too.”
On the future of virtual shopping post pandemic, Adam highlighted “We don’t see it slowing down. We’re only continuing to see a surge in growth in our business. For most retailers, they now see that they need to be more resilient and to invest in new technologies that are here to stay.”
