CAMILLA AND MARC, the Australian luxury fashion brand, has partnered with Hero to launch “Virtually There”: a virtual shopping experience that allows customers to connect with boutique consultants for personal styling, wardrobe, and gifting advice through text, chat, and video call.
In response to a fast-changing global environment, CAMILLA AND MARC is evolving the role of the traditional retail store and transforming the way customers interact and shop with the brand. The new virtual shopping experience is the latest innovation from the brand, part of its digitally infused “Smart Store.”
“Now, more than ever we understand that our customers lead extremely busy lives and for various reasons may not have time or space to visit a retail store. That’s why we’re thrilled to be providing our customers the personalized shopping experience they would receive in any one of our boutiques from the comfort of their living rooms,” says Creative Director Camilla Freeman-Topper.
Using the Hero app, boutique consultants can instantly connect with shoppers browsing the website to answer questions and recommend products just as they would in-store. Additionally, store teams can bring products to life through photos and two-way-video calls, giving customers greater convenience and confidence in their online purchases.

In-store features include simple visibility of omnichannel stock, allowing boutique consultants to search and sell the entire range of online items to customers.
