Accent Group Partners With HERO® to Bring Virtual Shopping to Its Global Brands
Accent Group, the Australia-based retailer and distributor of performance and lifestyle footwear with over 500+ stores, has partnered with HERO® to bring virtual shopping to its brands, including Skechers, Hype, Platypus, and The Athlete’s Foot.
Using the Hero app, store teams can instantly connect with shoppers browsing the website to answer questions and recommend products just like they would in-store. Store associates can bring products to life through photos and two-way-video calls, giving customers the confidence to make a purchase.
Store teams also have the ability to add customers to their contacts list, keeping the conversation going via text message to update shoppers on new drops and releases, and answer any future questions.
In-store features include endless aisle and easy visibility of omnichannel stock, allowing associates to search and sell the entire range of online items to customers, not just products available in-store.
“The HERO application enables our retail teams the tools to manage live chat enquiries on our websites, which in turn gives the customer an authentic experience and supports the sales process for our online customers,” says Accent Group.
4 months into its partnership with Hero, Accent Group is seeing remarkable results. Online sales through Hero have seen 5x the level of conversion compared to online sales without Hero, with an average order value increase of +20%.
